We have finally set a date for our challenge event.
It will be held on the 3rd August 2008 at Wormhough (Rushton Spencer)

It will be a team challenge event comprising of 2 vehicles per team.

This event will be held under MSA regulations and invites will be sent out to other MSA clubs.

We are restricting the numbers for the event to 20 teams of 2.

The cost will be £50 per vehicle.

The driver and Co-driver must be a MSA club member or affiliate (Affiliation to Buxton and District can be gained on the day for a fee of 10 pounds)

ouch. one of the hills took out garys front end last time when he was setting out and we dropped dave 30 feet onto a tree and it dented his rear cross member.
We can't dent his rear cross member with sister sledge.

You got a second yet?? kemp has said he's doing it.

Sorry Alan we have now sorted it after much discussion and we are going to run 3 classes. The same as AWDC so

Class 1: Unlimited Modifications. Vehicles do not need to be taxed for road use and may be
equipped with any combination of winch AND diff locks. Vehicles do not require a
mechanical link between the steering wheel and the steered wheels.

Class 2: Modified. Vehicles must be taxed for road use and may be equipped with one or
more of the following: Multiple Winches, Front and/or rear diff locks

Class 3: Limited Modifications. Vehicles must be taxed for road use and may be equipped
with one winch. Traction aids may only be used if original factory fitted equipment

If anyone has anything else to add to this please let me know as I'm all open to ideas.

We have 6 teams with there forms in but we want more. they event will go ahead at that though. Every thing is ready just got to stick the punches up saturday and were away.
