Derbyshire police have asked that motorists be advised that the Silly Dale UCR in Grindlow, Derbyshire (map ref SK181764) has now been determined as a Bridleway with no motor vehicle rights. This order has been confirmed after 2 separate public inquiries, and there is little we* can do to dispute the order further.
Although there are no proper Bridleway signs in place at present, please don't use this lane in or on a motor vehicle in future.
On TrailWise the sections that are now bridleway are SK1776-01 plus SK1876-01. http://www.trailwise.org.uk/do_quickfind.php?uid=SK1776-01 plus http://www.trailwise.org.uk/do_quickfind.php?uid=SK1876-01
* we = Peak & Derbyshire Vehicle User Group (PDVUG). This is a group made up from TRF, GLASS plus other trail bike and 4x4 user groups.
