Range Rover 1995M P38 HSE auto finished in Epsom Green with Granite Grey leather interior, MOT til Jan 09 and road tax to September 08 (low band). HPI clear.

Why buy a boring discovery when you can be the lord of the manor and have the range rover...that’s right....!

Professionally fitted by Stanton 4x4 conversions (www.stanton4x4.com), with a Mitsubushi 2.8Tdi (4M40 engine), starts 1st time, and runs very smoothly paired with the auto gearbox. High and low box both work fine, and there is also a Stanton 4x4 conversion engineers report supplied with the vehicle.

The Range Rover currently has 150K miles on it, however as the 4.6 engine was replaced with the 4M40 when the vehicle had covered 87,741 miles, and as the engine had less than 30,000 miles on it when fitted, the engines mileage can be estimated at 91,800 give or take a couple of thousand miles, so given that these engines have run up-to 250K miles without need for a rebuild, then there’s plenty of life left in it yet. Economy wise, the 4M40 will return just over 30 mpg on a motorway run, but will average high 20’s on mixed roads.

Comprehensive service history, with oil and filter dropped on the Mitsubishi engine every 6K miles. Fitted with 18” Genuine Landrover Comet Alloys and four good Pirelli tyres, tow pack, genuine bull bar and spots, this is a very straight genuine car (HPi Clear) with smart clean bodywork, let down only by some dents on the leading edge of the bonnet (from people closing it incorrectly), and also the usual wear to drivers leather seat on the side bolster. Usual full HSE leather specification with split climate, heated front and rear screens, Harmon Kardon sound system with boot mounted (standard!) subwoofer, and CD changer, with an aftermarket Sony X-plod head unit, and memory seats. Please note that there is no rear load space cover with the vehicle.

Taken in part exchange, I have driven it locally only and also on a couple of long surf runs to the south west, it has performed absolutely flawlessly, and I would trust it to get me anywhere. Some black smoke under hard acceleration but I am told this is normal until fitted with the special blanking plate, now obtained and supplied with the vehicle.
