1st off I'd like to say thank you for making my better half and young pup feel very welcome over the weekend.

We arrived early afternoon on Saturday with a view to assisting setting up, however, my short fuse and attention span got the better of me and i ended up sweating over a large erection........ the awning Shocked

Somehow i managed to get it up in time for the kids bike trial which was a good laugh, it showed just how much bottle the kids have got, can't say the same for some of the parents though Laughing

Then it was time to light the barbie and get grub underway whilst knocking back a tin or 3 of Manchester's finest.
Do51 Dav then set about the Disco for the evenings entertainment, nice one 'DD'.. Some of the fancy dress attendees had me chuckling to myself, Neil & Cindy in the Sumo suits roflmao..
Sunday morning came around and i donned the orange bib to do my bit, superb weather, good banter, great bunch of folk and I end up going and bending my road vehicle trying to be a smart arse.
I wanted to trial it but it WAS too straight for that, or so my better half said.........NOT ANY MORE Laughing Wink
I took a good friend and his girlfriend around the course in my Disco and he is, as we speak, searching E-Bay for a motor and is joining the Club.

Later in the afternoon, during the TYRO i found a stranded 'Dave Theaker' at the back of the quarry and myself and John 'A' spent nearly an hour trying to get it started before we gave up and i towed him back to camp to throw a match on it.
Once back at base we started to dig deeper into the mystery of the dead V8, 30 minutes later it was back to life.

Sunday night brought more good banter and the usual characters ie 'Bill' and the 'Dewsnip' boys minus the old man (Neil pushed him over the night before in a drunken sumo charge and hospitalised him Twisted Evil Very Happy ) Get well soon Dewsnip SNR.)
The fire was roaring, the beer was flowing and I was on a promise.............If i didn't stay out too long 'Emma' would cook me a full English in the morning, woo hoo.

Monday morning brought yet more chaos with more people coming to bend their expensive Discoverys and Defenders, not to mention the upturned classic Rangie which rolled 3 times. Thankfully they all took notice of the seat belt rule and all walked away un injured.
I decided to go for a last minute mooch in my dented Disco only to beach it for the 4th time in 48 hrs.

A fantastic weekend was had by all 3 of us.
Special thanks to ALL involved in the organising and running of it.
Thanks to Trev Shirett, Dave Dewsnip, Mick B and Nev for Sunday night ( you know why) Wink Wink
Thanks to 'Danny Riley' again for letting me use his errrrrr Landie to scare a friend of mine.

Dave, WELL DONE fella.

Don't get me started on the 'PIG' F***ing thing is driving me insane.
Converted it to carbs and had it running, it ran better than it did with EFI but then developed a missfire. It would have trialed as it was but i like a 8 pot to be running on all 8.
I was at it until 7pm Saturday night and eventually threw the towel in.
Its gonna be something reallllllly stupid like a dodgy plug or lead but i'm rapidly running out of patience with it.
