THE ORANGE 4 WHEELED BITCH BITES AGAIN!!!Sunday was gonna be a good day.... I`d got together with several local LR owmers and we planned to spend the day tackling as many of Derbyshire`s green lanes as we could fit in, Hollinsclough and Chapel gate being on the top of my personal to-do list. Well the ORANGE 4 WHEELED BITCH had different ideas!!! We had mamaged to do Longcliffe to Pikehall, Clough Lane Two Dales and a couple I don`t know the name of and she decided to spit her dummy out AGAIN! We were on a road section to another green lane and she began to misfire. On the flat all was ok but as we approached an incline and I asked for some power and all I got was puffs of white smoke from the exhaust and no power. I pulled over to the side of the road and the rest of the lads had a nosey under the bonnet. Someone mentioned something about a magnetic fuel switch or such like on the fuel pump(beats me, I`m just a numpty) anyway the suspected wire was nipped tight on the spade connector and sprayed with WD40......still the same. I gave the lads my Sat-Nav with the green lane co-ordinates and limped home. The best way i can describe the "fault" was is if the engine was being starved of fuel and also the turbo didn`t kick in. Anyone got any ideas before the ORANGE 4 WHEELED BITCH has an appointment with a box of swan vestas and copious amounts of Tesco`s best 4 star [/b]

Sorry i didn`t get back to ya any sooner, the computer`s been learning things from the orange 4 wheeled bitch!!! It spit its dummy out too.....Well, it and the 128 viruses and spy-ware etc etc it had picked up. Anyway.... Sorted the missing and no power problem, it turned out a fuel line had a tiny split or hole, not big enough to see but big enough to suck air and cause problems. In answer to your initial question, I`m in Ripley, Derby`s
