MrHT.
Just how many events do you turn up to and help??????????
You are meant to be part of the winch challenge team but from things I've heard it's not you doing all the work.
Do you marshal at playdays???????? or camp??????????? Or help in the running of these events?????
How many trials do you go to and marshal????? Perhaps if more people like you actually got off their backsides then the club wouldn't be in the situation that it is now!!!!!!!!!!!

hum so barney dosent do any thing for the club then whos the one thats giving up his weekends to run the winch challeges then getting up a 4.30 in the morning to set them out the spend all week end running around the site makeing sure everything is going to plan then at the end off sunday has to run around yet again to collect all the punches in oh not to forget the endless meetings that take place to sort out entrys and sites
this is all in his own time whilst working away from home all week so id say he was doing alot for the club wouldnt you
then we have the people such as your self that just want to moan about anything the club does to try and keep its self going is this climet
you go on about marshaling where are you at the winch challenge events then hum frickely we had 1 marshal turn up and il bet my life on it that it wasnt you
give yourself a big pat on the back your just wat the club needs a negative keyboard warior with nothing better to do
if you dont like how the club is being run then why not put your name foward (realy name)and join the comitte

I do plenty for the club thanks. The only reason that Barney has to get up at 4:30am for the winch challenges is because he has not bothered doing things in advance. Plenty of people manage to work, have a family life and contribute to the running of the club. It was barney that started getting personal on this subject not me.
I am not prepared to put my name on this but who says that Im not a committee member.
As always it is the same few people that are attending all events, and other than winch challenge events what do you and barney contribute to the club?? |

well its obvious that you are not a committe member or you would no what i do for the club
lets see im at every public play day marsaling or doing recovery organise and run every green laneing days which takes up many hours on the phone and internet finding out if we have a legal right to drive these lanes
attend public meetings to represent the club
help with the oranisation of the challenge events and also help any member that asks me for help advise or parts that they might need if i have it then ts theres if i dont i will try my hardest to find it for them at a price which is right so in all contest i think i gve more than enought of my time to the club dont you

Why can't you children play nicely? if this debate continues on a personal level I will give you playground duties, PLAY NICELY.
My original forum entry was done to seek opinion and debate which I believe this forum is for; I wonder if you children would make the same comments face to face!!! I am sure you people out there know that I will if necessary, and it was never my intention for people to get personal.
If you have a comment regarding the camping charge, please feel free to type away, if not please do not railroad this debate and take it to another heading |

what does it matter who does what as long as the events are safe and run properly i cant see the problem here if you dont want to pay then dont camp simple its each to their own at the end of the day the club has to make money somewhere or we wouldnt have a club full stop

or for that matter y is this person so frustrated with the club????
or is this person just waiting for there membership to run out so they are no longer a member?? |

It seems that the anonymous posters have stopped since admin posted that they could be traced  .This thread started as a discusion about the rights and wrongs about charging for camping but has developed into a slanging match.As for saying that Barney doesnt contribute to the club  ,i know for a fact that when we went to Frickley last month that he left the site after clearing up after the weekend and went straight to work(no brownie points with the family that weekend  ) and that doesnt include the time he put in before the event? and i dare say that some of the other guys do the same.After all we are all enthusiasts with a common interest,lets not start name calling? everybody is entitled to his or her opinion but dont hide behind anonymous names?
