Hi Dave
A long story, got a Salisbury rear with discs last summer and decided to swop it over last week, fitted it etc then drained the oil, there were bits of what looked like bearing casing metal at the bottom of the bucket so something has collapsed and the pinion seal leaks - and I mean it poors out!
So I am hoping I can fix it in situ but it looks as if you need a lot of special tools, Not afraid of attempting it but don't what to bodg it up, I've rebuilt gearboxes and transfers before but not a Salisbury axle.
Dave
